Link: http://www.ust.edu.ph/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=484&It...The College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD) held its parade on November 17, with the titled “Aurora Borealis (Festival of Arts Parade),” with Chines and Zodiac Signs Theme as part of their college week’s theme titled “"Astra de Aspera" (Reach for the Stars).”
Different Chinese or Zodiac Signs were showed in the parade, and the CFAD students presented their chosen sign in connection with the outer space theme. The students gladly joined in the parade, despite the complexity of their works and costumes.
The parade was very colorful and very unique, and was open to all CFAD students who wanted to join the parade, but most of the participants were first year and second year students as part of their subject.
Aside from usual parade, the CFAD Student Council also made it a contest. The group with the most beautiful presentation of their theme would get the prize. The section AD 3-8, with their theme Year of the Snake won the contest.
